Chuck comes to Fundamentals with over 25 years experience playing, coaching, and instructing in baseball and softball.  Chuck has placed several of his players in college with scholarships,  and knows that sports will bring both success and failure, but the difference is a winner always gives 100% effort to help their team.  Chuck excels in helping players expand their skill set and build the confidence necessary to enjoy the competition.  Working together with a young person to bring this confidence out to maximize potential is a privilege above being just an instructor.

Phillip Ledbetter

Baseball Instruction- Hitting, Throwing, Pitching, Fielding, and Base Running

I believe that all athletes deserve a chance to succeed and grow as individuals. Athletes of any ability (whether a first time player or a 10 time all star) can develop their skills.  One of my goals as an instructor is to teach that the game of baseball is just that, a game. The point of a game is to have fun, so I always bring an upbeat attitude that reminds children that baseball is an incredibly fun activity. My other main goal is to build confidence and baseball skills in young athletes that can be easily applied on the diamond.Young athletes can improve both their baseball and life skills by gaining confidence. This confidence can only come from working hard on the fundamentals. Hard work and dedication in athletics leads to success in life as well as on the baseball field.

In baseball, my theory is to strive for consistency, not to worry about the numbers. If you dwell on statistics you get shortsighted, if you aim for consistency, the numbers will be there at the end.

Tom Seaver

Every day is a new opportunity. You can build on yesterday's success or put its failures behind and start over again. That's the way life is, with a new game every day, and that's the way baseball is.
